The complete portfolio, comprising 15 lithographs printed in colours, with text by Roger Caillois, 1976, each signed and dated in the stone, also signed in pencil on the justification and inscribed 'H.C.' (an hors commerce impression aside from the 15 numbered and inscribed HC impressions plus the regular edition of 300), loose (as issued), on wove paper, contained in the original paper wrappers and cloth-covered case
Condition
The full sheets, the colours fresh, in good condition apart from traces of a faint water-stain at lower part of the case, only slightly visible on the first wrapper with title page and none of the images. The paper is slightly toned and the occasional sheet with minute pale fox marks.
