Chiaroscuro woodcut, 1515, an experimental impression with the line block printed in brown and the tone block in yellowish-olive, the seventh edition (of eight), printed by Willem Janssen, Amsterdam, after 1620, framed

Condition

Trimmed just outside the borderline in places at sides, trimmed on or just within the platemark elsewhere, a vertical fold at centre right, a 3mm diagonal tear at left of upper edge, occasional nicks at edges of sheet, a couple of soft folds, a thin area in the left front hoof and above the left hind hoof (mainly visible verso), a pin hole at centre of extreme left sheet edge, other minor defects, framed.
