Screenprint in a unique combination of colours, 1985, from Reigning Queens, a trial proof aside from the regular edition of 40 (there were also 10 artist's proofs and 30 trial proofs), on Lenox Museum Board, published by George C. P. Mulder, Amsterdam
Provenance
Acquired directly from the artist's studio in 1986 by the present owner.
Condition
The full sheet, printed to the edges, three soft diagonal creases across the sheet through the figure's head, a shorter crease at upper right through the front of the hair, a few short broken creases at lower corners (with occasional pigment loss), a 2.5cm crease at upper right edge (with associated tiny horizontal creases partially broken through), pale mottling below in the purple dress, tips of corners softened, other minor imperfections. The verso with occasional skinned areas and light surface soiling, unframed.
