Engraving, 1526, a fairly good Meder h impression, on paper with part of a Crest of Basel watermark (M. 214)
Condition
Trimmed just outside the borderline below retaining a blank fillet of paper, trimmed on the platemark at sides, circa 2mm within at top, a 5mm vertical tear at left of lower sheet edge, two tiny repaired tears at right sheet edge (at right of lowest book and Erasmus' shoulder), a 4mm horizontal repaired tear at lower left in the edges of the book, two central horizontal folds (one partially broken through), occasional pale fox marks, otherwise in good condition, unframed.
