Condition

Holl. 117: With narrow margins (5mm all around), in good condition apart from a 15 mm diagonal tear at centre of upper edge, two repaired tears (12mm across the boy's shoulder at lower right edge and 12mm below the dog at centre of lower edge), two small losses at upper right corner (supported with Japan paper), minor small brown stains and pale fox marks mainly towards the sheet edges, minor nicks at sheet edges, a central horizontal fold and a shallow diagonal fold lower left ( mainly visible verso), unframed. Holl. 118: Trimmed outside the borderline, in good condition apart from a 12mm vertical crease (partially split) at centre of upper edge, the vertical gaps in the lower sheet edge strengthened with touches of pen and ink, a few pale fox marks (mainly visible towards the lower sheet edge), the red of the collector's mark verso showing through faintly in the headscarf of the centre foreground figure recto, a few minor nicks at sheet edges, unframed.
