Aquatint printed in colours, 1976, signed in pencil vertically at top, inscribed H.C. (an hors commerce impression aside from the numbered edition of 50), published by Maeght and with their watermark, on wove paper

Condition

The full sheet, generally in good condition, except the sheet edges have two skillfully repaired tears (at upper left measuring 165mm and in the red at bottom measuring 38mm) both backed with Japan and with associated skinning on the verso, occasional soft handling creases, one at centre of top with two short tears at either side. There is a white paper accretion in the black at centre right, and a small area of scattered foxing by the green circle at left, unframed.
