In his afterword in the revised edition of 'Prototype Works,' Matthew Witkovsky describes Lewis Baltz's distinctive presentation style for his photographs in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The present print--flush-mounted back-to-back to another sheet of photographic paper--is consistent with Baltz's way of presenting prints during this period. This early print, on medium-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface and flush-mounted to another piece of photographic paper, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, a crease is visible in the lower right margin corner. Clip impressions are visible in all four margin corners on the front and on the reverse. On the reverse, 'Baltz' and '#25' have been written very faintly in pencil. On the reverse at the lower right edge, a tiny sliver of dry-mounting tissue is visible.
