Condition

This print is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, a few small soft creases, which do not appear to break the emulsion, are visible. In the upper right margin corner, a few tiny sharp creases, possibly from prior hinges on the reverse, are visible. On the reverse are plastic tape, linen tape, and adhesive remnants along the upper edge. The provenance for this lot is as follows: Sotheby's New York, 8 October 1997, Sale 7024, Lot 426.
