Condition
This early contact print, on smooth double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good to excellent condition. In the upper right corner, there is a 1ΒΌ-inch sharp crease that breaks the emulsion. The margins (black along the left, right, and upper edges) are rubbed along the upper and left edges, and the corners are bumped and rounded.
The reverse of the print is appropriately age-darkened at the edges. The 'Changing New York' caption stamp on the reverse is annotated in ink with the following information:
Title: 'Fourth Avenue, No. 154'
Place: 'Brooklyn, NY'
Date: 'Oct 29, 1936'
Neg. # '180'
Code: 'I A 2''
