Description

  • William Eggleston
  • MEMPHIS (PARLOR ORGAN, FROM THE SERIES GRACELAND)
  • dye-transfer print
dye-transfer print, signed in ink and with annotation 'A/P' in pencil on the reverse, framed, 1983, likely printed in 1984

Condition

This dye-transfer print is in generally excellent condition. The colors are vibrant and saturated, without any apparent fading. Upon close examination in raking light, a soft crease in the lower left portion of the image is visible. This does not appear to break the emulsion. On the reverse are a few paper-tape remnants along the upper edge.
