Condition

This print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is tipped at the corners to a mount. It has not been examined out of its frame, and appears to be in very good condition. The print's edges are rubbed and are curling slightly upward from themount. The corners are bumped and creased, with the top paper ply lifting at the tips. There is a sharp crease in the lower left margin edge. The zebra patterns have been exuberantly drawn in the margins by the photographer using blue and black inks. In addition to the title and date, the annotations are as follows: 'Special Delivery to Noel from Peter Beard, Box 603 Montauk.' The ink notation on the South Lake Framing Company, Montauk, label reads: 'Framed with heavy weathered doug. fir picked from South Lake woodpile--inner frame made from white oak scrap.'
