Condition
This print, on double-weight paper with a slightly glossy surface, and with margins that are approximately 1/4-inch, is in generally excellent condition. In raking light, the following are visible: a deposit of original retouching in the sky area at right, and a very soft handling crease at the left.
There are additional annotations in pencil on the reverse: 'L83.21.5 p-5,' 'Robert Adams,' 'LA212.87,' and 'RA.181.Y.' The reverse of the print is lightly soiled, with two graphite-colored deposits at the top edge.
