signed in pencil in the margin, reduction and numerical notations in pencil and ink and with number stamp on the reverse, framed, 1950s, printed later
Condition
This print, on smooth double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally good to very good condition. Visible upon close examination in raking light are a number of small soft and sharp handling creases and tiny impressions that do not appear to break the emulsion. There is minor chipping to the margin edges, and the tips of the corners are creased and bumped.
On the reverse of the print are the following: reduction notations in pencil; '2' (circled) in pencil; an illegible notation (circled) in ink; and '2822' stamped in purple. The reverse is soiled and there are 3 small brown paper tape remnants.
When examined in under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce.
