Condition

This print, on a thick, matte-surface paper with an eggshell texture, is in generally very good condition. Upon close examination, various tiny deposits of original retouching, most notably in the sitter's right shoulder, are visible. The fine scratches in the negative were not retouched on this print. There are two tack holes in the lower right margin corner and along the upper right margin. The thin margin edges are somewhat worn, and the corners are bumped. None of the above affects the fine quality of this print. When examined under ultraviolet light, this photograph may fluoresce very slightly.
