Description

  • Karl Struss
  • CHATHAM SQUARE, NEW YORK
  • platinum print
platinum print, signed and dated in pencil on the image, tipped to a triple mount, framed, 1911

Condition

This early platinum print, with a range of subtle gray tonality, is in generally excellent condition. It is tipped to a light buff-colored paper mount that is slightly larger than the print. This mount is tipped to a mount that extends 1/4-inch, and these are tipped to a small album leaf. The album leaf is lightly soiled and age-darkened, with intermittent foxing on the front. These do not affect the print.
