Condition

This pleasingly warm-toned photograph, on smooth double-weight paper with a faint sheen, is in generally excellent condition. The margin edges are lightly worn, and the tips of the corners bumped or creased. In the upper margin, there are 2 small clamp impressions. On the reverse of the print, the 'Changing New York' caption stamp is annotated in colored pencil with the following information: Title: 'Christopher and Bleecker Streets' Place: 'Manhattan' Neg. # '136' Code: 'IA2' Date: 'June 18, 1936'
