Condition

This photograph, on double-weight paper with a slight texture and sheen, is in generally excellent condition. There is a tiny rust-colored adhesion near the right margin edge. The black margin edges are worn, with some resultant losses of emulsion, and the corners are rubbed. In the left margin, there are 2 small clamp impressions. The reverse of the print is slightly age-darkened at its periphery. The 'Changing New York' caption stamp is annotated in colored pencil with the following information: Title: 'Ferry: West 23rd Street' Place: 'Manhattan' Neg. # '60' Code: 'II A[?].d' Date: 'December 23, 1935'
