Literature

Condition

This orotone has rich bronze tones and is in generally excellent condition. The original frame is in generally excellent condition, with minor wear. There is a small chip on the right side of the frame and the original paper backing is ripped in some areas. There are some losses and tears to the Curtis Studio label and the typed caption on the reverse of the frame. Altogether, however, the orotone is remarkable for having survived in fine condition and in its original Curtis Studio presentation.
