Condition

This impressive, highly detailed print of one of Curtis's most well-known portraits is on heavy textured paper. It is essentially in excellent condition. There is a small area of retouching, likely original, in the upper right corner of the image. The photograph, in its original Curtis Studio frame, is hinged to a modern mount and has been skillfully sealed by a framer with a spacer between plexiglas and board. It has not been examined out of this contained package. The original Curtis Studio frame is in excellent condition.
