These photographs, each on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, are in generally very good condition. In raking light, soft and sharp handling creases are visible on most of the prints. None of these appear to break the emulsion and are not immediately apparent. A few of the prints have a small yellow stain near the margin edge. Many of the margin edges are rippled, and the margin corners are bumped. On the reverse are various numerical notations. 'New Orleans' - There are scattered tiny impressions visible in raking light. These do not appear to break the emulsion. 'Mexico' - The reverse is lightly soiled. 'El Paso' - Upon close examination in raking light, a small scratch that appears to break the emulsion is visible in the lower right quadrant.
