Condition
This print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good condition. The edges are rubbed, and the corners are slightly bumped and creased. At the left margin edge, there is a small tear that intrudes into the image about 1/16-inch. In the upper margin, there are 4 small, pale rust-colored droplet-shaped deposits. One of these is at the upper edge of the image.
The reverse is lightly soiled and there is age-darkening at the edges. In addition to the photographer's signature in ink and title and annotation 'Americans 30' in pencil, are the following, also in pencil, in unidentified hands: '740' (circled), '2801,' 'printed c. 1960,' and gallery inventory number 'RFG 39.183.'
