Provenance
Time Inc. Picture Collection
Holden Luntz 20th Century Master Photography, Palm Beach
Condition
This early print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is from Fortune magazine's archival files in the Time Inc. Picture Collection. Considering that it was a circulating Time Inc. file print, this print is in good condition. The edges are rubbed, and the margin corners are bumped. When examined in raking light, light silvering and several handling creases and linear impressions that do not break the emulsion are visible. There is a small light gray deposit of indeterminate nature in the lower margin. This does not affect the print.
On the reverse, there is very light soiling, as well as slight age-darkening at the periphery.
