Condition

This print is on double-weight paper with a slight surface sheen. It is somewhat warm-toned, and the photographer's signature, title and date are faded. There is a 4 1/4-inch sharp crease in the lower left margin corner that intrudes 5/8-inch into the image. When examined in raking light, a small sharp crease is evident in the upper margin. This does not affect the image. There is very slight age-darkening at the periphery on the reverse. In addition to the copyright stamp (with credit and date in ink) and the Robert Frank Archive stamp (with 'Americans 14,' 'Ranch Market-Hollywood,' and '776' in pencil), '62 (circled)', 'RF.145.Y,' and a gallery inventory number 'PF85609 (new 96617)' are written in pencil on the reverse.
