Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are a couple of light horizontal scuffs in her clothing in the lower centre. Ultra-violet light reveals an even varnish and some very minor signs of retouching, notably a spot in her clothing in the lower-left quadrant of the composition and possibly a couple of thin strokes to the upper-right of her head in the background. This painting is in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a substantial gilt frame with foliate motifs.
