Condition

Panel is uncradled, flat and stable. overall the painting is in very good condition. the paint surface has been well retained and there is lovely detail and coloration throughout. it is difficult to see through the old varnish under UV light. there are some very small retouches to the pink rose at right side and a small area at bottom center on right side of caterpillar. some minor scuffs at extreme edges. painting is presentable and can be hung as is. In a plain dark brown wood frame.
