Condition
Oil on canvas, lined. The picture surface is flattened but in overall fine condiiton. Under UV light, there dashes and dots of inpaint scattered across the composition, particularly in the background, the sitter's right eye, her lips and along the line of her dress.

Catalogue Note
Another version of this painting, with variations in the dress, formed part of a series of portraits by Voet and his studio, formerly in the Odescalchi collection, Como. The Odescalchi Galleria delle belle series, depicting beauties from Roman society, sold at Christie's New York in 2006 for $441,600.1
