The following condition report has been provided by Simon Parkes of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc. 502 East 74th St. New York, NY 212-734-3920, simonparkes@msn.com, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's. This panel has been restored and should be hung in its current condition. The condition is very good. There are hardly any retouches. There is only a spot or two in the lower sky on the right and some in the upper right corner, where a small section of panel has been added. This small addition is about 3 inches long by 1/4 inch high. The reverse shows four vertical reinforcements, which seem to be effectively keeping the panel flat and stable.
