Louis Deglatigny (L.1768a, only on A Gentleman carrying his coat)

Condition

Gentleman carrying his coat: cut down and laid down on backing sheet. A number of small holes/losses to the sheet in the lower section. Few dots of gouache at the level of the man's chin, perhaps there to cover a hole. Red chalk remains strong. Man wearing a turban: window mounted, mount covering the edges of the drawing (recto). Small brown stain in upper left corner. Otherwise red chalk still strong.
