Condition
Laid down on an old album page. There is some slight discoloration to the sheet and areas of minor surface dirt, staining and foxing. There are two diagonal creases to the upper right edge and a small hole in the sheet to the left of the friar. The pen and ink medium is still fresh.

Catalogue Note
This humorous sheet once formed part of a group of about 200 caricatures by Ghezzi which were bound into three albums in 1780; these albums were broken up in 1971.
