Condition

The canvas has been relined and is in good condition. The paint is covered by a thick milky varnish. Restoration consists of small areas of retouching in the background, to an area of shadow in the centre, and to the tips of the petals of the red flower at the top. Delicate underdrawing is visible in the flowers and grapes.
