  • Study of a nude woman kneeling, possibly for a Penitent Magdalene
  • Pen and brown ink over traces of black chalk, the sheet trimmed and made up into a rectangle;
    bears numbering in black chalk, verso: 1030

Condition

Window mounted. The original sheet has been made up into a rectangle. There are areas of light surface dirt and two small areas, by the figures hands, where the iron gall ink has slightly eaten away at the sheet. The medium itself is fresh and vibrant throughout.
