Condition

The support consists of two vertical panels joined and cradled to the reverse. The paint surface is generally secure; if a little thin in the background. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings and more significant areas of repaint in the middle of the aforementioned panel join, upper right in the abraded background and in the face and neck of the lady. Offered in an ornate carved gilt wood frames which is in good condition although a little rubbed.
