Condition

Made up of three vertical panels, the rightmost slightly smaller than the other wtwo. They are not cradled, but the joints are supported by wooden inserts. The smaller panel is slightly bowed convex. The paint surface is thick, ith detail of the jewellery and the fabric along the ciff very well - preserved. There are scattered repairs that have slightly discoloured. A small area of slightly lifting pain in the lower left corner, visible under raking light. This needs attention. Inspection under UV light shows specks of retouching in her face, and two more substantial restorations on her forehead and left eye. There is restrengthening of the dark pattern in her cuff. This lot is offered in a gilt frame with a few knocks to the paint surface.
