Condition

The canvas has a recent and tight relining. The paint surface is stable, and the varnish clear and even. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a campaign of localised retouchings and strengthenings throughout, some of which have discoloured and are visible to the naked eye. In fair condition. Offered in gilt wood frame in fair condition.
