Condition

The single copper panel is flat and stable, with no sign of major damage. The paint surface is in very good condition, with tiny details intact. There are localized areas of paint beginning to flake, but not yet lifting from the copperplate. Inspection under Ultraviolet light shows very small scattered retouchings in the sky, and to the skirt of the Virgin, to the cloak of the man on the far right. Offered in a gilt wood frame in good condition.
