- Jupiter disguised as Diana seducing Callisto

Condition
The canvas has an old but stable relining. The paint surface is now dirty and the varnish layer discoloured. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals vertical repaired tear lower left edge (7 cm.) and to the right of this another old repaired damage (2 cm.) Remaining restoration is confined to only scattered local spot retouchings, for example around the hair of Callisto.
Offered in a later composite gilt wood frame in good condition.
