Condition

The canvas appears to be unlined. The paint surface is dirty and the varnish discoloured. Overall the paint surface is very well preserved. There are four old damages, patched on the reverse. These are in the sky upper right (6cm the largest), two centre left (both of 2cm) and above the horizon in the centre (1.5 cm). Apart from this restoration is limited to a few scattered retouchings. Offered in plain gilt frame in good condition.
