Roman School, 18th Century

The canvas has an old and sound relining and has been fairly recently cleaned and restored. The paint surface is in very good order throughout with no sign of wear and much of the original impasto intact. Inspection under UV light reveals only scattered old retouchings and small repairs but no major damages. The picture requires no further attention. The picture is offered in an elaborate carved gilt wood frame with a modern sight edge.

The work appears to have been painted by two hands, one responsible for the still-life elements, the other for the two putti.
