- Head of a young man, probably a self-portrait
- oil on canvas, in a fine Italian carved and gilt frame
Condition
The canvas has an old relining which is still sound. The paint surface is extremely dirty. There a few minor surface losses, but generally the paint is in beautiful intact condition, with all the original impasto preserved beneath an old varnish.
