Private Collection, Germany.

Condition

In good overall condition. The panel has been thinned and cradled. There is a 9 cm hairline crack running up from the centre of the bottom edge. The varnish is now very discoloured. The paint surface is generally well preserved, with only slight wear in the flesh tones, and some minor retouching, principally to old losses in the background upper centre.
