Condition
The canvas is relined and the painting has been recently cleaned and restored. The paint surface is generally in good order but has a degree of wear in some areas, notably the centre. There are no major damages and some scattered strengthenings in the groups of figures and in the upper arches but otherwise the paint surface remains largely untouched with much of the vibrant colouring well preserved.
