Description

  • Portrait of a lady in an interior
  • oil on oak panel, unframed

Condition

The panel is uncradled, flat and stable. There is beveling on all four sides. The paint surface is in excellent condition with detailed brushwork well-preserved. There are very tiny retouchings applied in vertical lines along the wood grain: these are concentrated in the hands and to a much lesser degree in the lower part of the face and in the veil. Scattered small retouchings elsewhere. This lot is offered without a frame.
