The panel is not cradled and is stable and flat. There is old woodworm on the reverse. The paint surface is in good condition, with small old paint losses repaired. Tiny scattered restorations, for example in Christ's shoulder, below his hands, and in his hair. There is an old uneven varnish visible under Ultraviolet light. This lot is offered in am elaborate gilt moulded frame.
