- A) Black chalk heightened with white within brown ink framing lines on blue paper (recto), a black chalk sketch of a figure group on the verso
B) Black chalk heightened with white within brown ink framing lines, on blue paper
C) Black chalk heightened with white within brown ink framing lines, on light brown paper
Provenance
Bear two unidentified collector's marks, verso (L.3549 and L.3551, on all three sheets)
Condition
All three window mounted.
A) Slight diagonal crease in upper left corner. Light brown staining. Otherwise good condition chalk is strong recto and verso.
B) Light yellow staining, barely visible. Chalk in good condition.
C) light scattered foxing throughout the sheet, chalk remains fairly fresh.
