Condition

Illustration is quite accurate. Gilding slightly tarnished on the top. Veneer with few tiny flakes and one chip on the plinth. Dial in good condition. Bell striking movement with Brocot escapement is complete and looks as though it would run. Impressive model in good condition, made after a pedestal clock which is now visible in the king's bedroom at Versailles.
