Condition
Very good condition for an object of this type and age. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, wear, small chips and cracks consistent with age and use. Shallow losses to patina on face as seen in catalogue photograph. Chips, erosion, and losses around bottom edge of handle. Old loss to top edge of proper left ear, patinated over. Old loss to tip of sword. Fine layered blackened patina with remains of white pigment. Fixed permanently to modern base.
