Condition
Good condition for an object of this type and age. Old losses, including to proper left arm of the baby, to proper right side of the stool seat, and to bottoms of feet of the stool and to toes of the mother. Baby's proper right foot broken and reattached with a nail (native repair) and proper left leg broken and glued. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, small chips and cracks consistent with age and use. Fine blackened aged patina with encrustation and white pigment in the eyes. Fixed permanently to modern base.
