Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, small chips, and cracks consistent with age and use. Age cracks, including to proper right side of coiffure, to back of pulley, and through proper right side of pulley through hole for attachment of the spool. Small old losses to edges of ears, and to top rim. Exceptionally fine layered dark brown patina with encrustation. Four pinholes in underside for attachment to modern base.
