Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and small chips consistent with age and use. Proper left foot broken and glued. Proper left forearm with a broken segment which was reattached with metal brackets in situ, now loose. Age crack to the separately-carved lid of the vessel. Narrow vertical crack to proper right side of vessel. Facial features with shallow abrasions as seen in catalogue illustration. Aged dark brown patina, partially rubbed, with areas of incrustation and covered by a film of wax.
