Condition

Very good condition for an object of this type and age. Old loss to a section at the center of the headcrest as seen in catalogue illustration. Vertical crack to proper right side of the head, extending down into the neck, shoulder, arm, and leg, partially filled, as shown in catalogue illustration. Losses to feet as shown in catalogue illustration. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, cracks, and small losses consistent with age and use. Exceptionally fine weathered dark brown surface with some encrustation. Fixed to modern metal plate base with two vertical metal pins embedded in the lower legs.
